History of Bonnie View

History of Bonnie View

We moved to our little piece of paradise in 2005 and during 2013 we decided to extend our veggie patch to grow a wider variety of seasonal chemical-free produce for our family and to share with others.

To further the use of the produce I started making chutney, relishes, pickles and jams.  I try different recipes to keep the preserves interesting.

Chooks are our other passion. We supply many folks who love free-range pastured eggs.  The girls forage around the paddock during the day and are housed in purpose-built mobile houses for their protection from predators.

Our ladies

Our produce is available at the local markets each month, where it is great to interact with locals and visitors alike, and a number of other outlets.

Farm Walks

Farm Walks are a great opportunity for us to share our passions with interested folk.  They can see what we do with veggies and eggs and also the other aspects of living on a small holding.
